Hated 2005, my nana got cancer in April and died in the August. Thats part of the reason I like BB6 so much- I was watching it live literally all night because I could never sleep so got very attached

funny how the three years you mentioned were the worst are the only three years that logistically, you can really remember.

2002/2009.

2002 I have some of the fondest memories from childhood and 2009 I did a lot things I'd never done before, had an amazing time and I don't regret anything from that year.

2007 was my favourite year. So many amazing memories with my friends. It was the first half of my last year of high school and I made so many friends I still have now and had so many summer parties and 18ths and house parties and road trips. Was AMAZING. I remember all the indie music back then too was so popular with our age group and the whole neon summer happened. Was mad. There wasn't a care in the world!

I also remember my holiday to the canaries and I was dieing because I couldn't hear the premiere of Girls Aloud's 'Sexy! No No No', I remember sitting in an internet cafe for 2 hours solid listening to it and talking to friends at the same time. <3 Also 'Tangled Up' was released and that's my favourite Girls Aloud album. Oh and the Greatest Hits tour! Front row, was goosebumping-amazing.

Defining moments, then :

2000 - I got into 'rasslin.
2001 - I played some of my all time favourite games for the first time. Built up a huge collection of 'rasslin videos. Learned about 'rasslin' Lived 'rasslin. Amazing year.
2002 - Bit of a boring one. Nothing of note.
2003 - Got an Xbox, got back into 'Rasslin after a hiatus.
2004 - Nothing of note, but it was a good year.
2005 - Went to New York. Another good year.
2006 - Went to New York again. Got a 360. Played the amazing Oblivion. Started hanging out a lot more, reading etc. This is where the modern me started, if you like.
2007 - Disaster of a year. Dived straight into the aul' substance abuse a bit too heavy.
2008 - Great year again. Stopped the destructive drinking patterns and stuck to getting stoned every day. Great summer too, I remember. Up the field every second night getting twisted.
2009 - I saw Depeche Mode. Twice. Hence this was the finest year of my existence. Got into synthesizers and music production.

So 2000, 2001 and 2009 for me. But 2009 edges out for obvious reasons.

2010 - Quit smoking dope, starting to concentrate on work more [music, getting a job, being productive etc]. Looks set to be a great year.
