Yes and the late finishes and early finishes etc....

So last nights 2.4m will hit 3m Im guessing quite easily in the officials.

Patrick you are being irrational. Big Brother still gets a fair representation considering every other show is also judged on BARBS and people who record are not taken into account. It's not a conspiracy against BB and it's childish to think BARB's should be put in every home in Britain specifically to raise the ratings of your favourite TV show. Heck, if BARBS were installed in every home in Britain the average rating could go down. More than likely it would stay the exact same.

Get over it, seriously. This is the way ratings work and it's the same for ALL shows.

Is there any way that the official figures could be put in the first post? eg - Day 1 ~mil, Day 2 ~mil etc etc. I know this would be a pain in the arse to organise but it would make life easier for posters. No worries if not

2.6m for last night, up 400k on BB10 but very good for 10pm, on BBC1 at 10:35pm a show barely got 1.5m, so we beat them comfortably

Tonight in the 9pm slot we could had a very strong +1 rating so im hoping for 3m just like we managed on Sunday at 9pm.

The officials for the first few days (Weds The Launch, Thurs, Friday, Sat and Sun, i think) will be relased on Monday. When they come in i will post them on the first page, but here we will discuss teh overnights for now.

No.

It makes perfect sense, it's losing them a **** load of money. People need to realise higher ratings doesn't always mean a show is more profitable.

The amount Channel4 paid for the show means it probably needs about 3-4m on overnights to break even, perhaps even more.

That's why they're making the show longer and squeezing in another adbreak.

it doesn't matter that all their other shows get fewer viewers, none of their other shows cost something stupid like Ł70m a year to make so they need fewer viewers to become profitable.

Its up against the WC and is up 400,000 from BB10 at this point, and up 500,000 from the BB10 OFFICIAL average...

Tonight we could see it hit 3m as its in the 9pm slot.

I think its just unfair in general in all shows not just Big Brother that they don't count every home in Britain tbh.

I think Barb Boxes are a stupid thing and I'm not suggesting they should be put in every home in the country I'm saying that we should all be counted as viewers because I am sure if we were Big Brother would get higher ratings and like you said it isn't just Big Brother so I don't mean that as if its the only show that is affected by barb boxes.

I can see peolple turning off if they keep dominating the highlights with govans bitching. They need to show the other stuff like Ife being hilariously funny and Mario streaking if they wanna keep the ratings up.
