The reason I put in the report, I believe, was something short-hand about "stupid, going to cause trouble".

If you've even seen the thread - which I highly doubt because you're part of a collective that hops around without context or understanding - you'll see that it provoked a lot of users expressing shock at Tom's statement. I didn't see what became of it, indeed only until this thread popped up did I find out he was banned (who knows, it could have been something entirely different in which case this is very pointless :P) - but I assume something DID become of it, if he was banned for it.
