I joined Twitter so that I could congratulate her on getting a 1st in her degree and to tell her I loved her and Rachael in the music video they did, but I'm not sure how twitter work!.

Do I need to send her a direct message, is there a less personal way to contact her?; the thing is, if I send her I direct message she may thing I expect a reply and I don't want to get in her face, I just want to congratulate her.
