I don't know if this is a Scottish thing or not but I find it funny when in company and somebody is leaving when somebody says "is that you?"
I say it at work all the time and have no idea why... When a customer has finished and is about to leave I'll say "ok? is that you?"
Is this a Scottish thing or have others heard this?

I have never heard it or at least I never aware of hearing it using it with those occasions. It is interesting.
Of course I would use it like somebody at the door or may be on the phone?
