oh fack off
|
I've always thought it'd be better to get a failed winner of XF like Steve to Christmas #1 with their winning single in one of these campaigns. Imagine how pissed off Simon would be? I know it defeats the point of now having an X Factor winner as Christmas #1 but it'd still be funny and would stop the current winner getting it. Infact this year they could do it with Joe's 'The Climb' seeing as he didn't get it last year. That would be good
![]() But if all else fails then they should just pick a Christmas song...seeing as it is the Christmas #1. That'd be much better than some RATM crap. |

Oh my god.
I remember on Christmas week when RATM won and Joe lost and I went on a posting strike. Jesus I deserved to be shot.

![]() But in general I agree, but I think its funny that some of these anti-X Factor campaigns like to try and make a stand for not doing what you're told to do by the media. Last years "****** you I won't do what you tell me" was rather ironic when 500,000 went and downloaded a song because someone on Facebook told them to

This might have been better.

'rock-loving twits [sic]'?
So you're saying this song is rock?

Bet some absolute idiots actually go and buy this too. I'm such a rebel I am. I wont be swayed by the media...oh an anti xf single with nothing on it, lets buy it.

I don't see the problem. Not everybody who bought "Killing in the Name Of" last Christmas even liked RATM. It was just because of how inherently funny it would have been for RATM to get the Christmas no. 1. The same applies with John Cage.

I'd be happy if this went to number one over the dull X factor winner. Viewers who go 'crazy' for the artist who won, then a few months down the line never want to bother with their 'winner' again need to learn that x factor is, now, a waste of time.

![]() Although I would prefer a "Christmasy" song to get to number 1. Maybe a campaign to get Shakin Stevens "Merry Christmas Everyone" to number 1 again!! love that song!"Merry Christmas Everyone" was Christmas Number 1 25 years ago!!!! It would be amazing.. 25 years later it is number 1.. AGAIN!! Come on Shakin Stevens!!!!!
