I think that could well be a more accurate figure, considering you have to factor in the people that are still in the closet and those that don't yet know they are gay because they're too young or haven't thought/explored their sexuality properly. And it also doesn't factor in the people that didn't take this survey or refused to answer. 1.5% is an extremely low figure, and theoretically, why is it not possible that 50% of the population is gay and the other is straight [or, if we factor in biseuxality, 33% each way, or if we factor in 'other' then 25% each way]. I don't understand how that is not conceivable?
I personally believe [as I've said before on here] it's entirely possible that the entire population of the planet is 100% bisexual, however some do not know it or will not chose to explore other avenues other than what they know is 'right' to themselves.
