Its not like she pretends to be expert on vocal technique or anything. But anybody can hear an off note. And if it takes an expert to spot a mistake then its an irrelevent mistake because the general public won't notice anyways!

She is an artist in an extremely competitive market(especially for female singers at the mo). Of course she's going to take the opportunity to perform if offered. Any artist would. Its not like there are lots of big shows for artists to perform on these days either.

BIB made me lol. Cheryl hardly won that show because of her amazing vocals , she won purely because of the way she looked. Surely your not deluded enough to think otherwise

And no, you miss the point slightly. Cheryl Cole is JUDGING other people on their singing ability. The point is she can't sing herself, she is were she is because she got lucky in a talent competition with a group (which was designed to great two groups anyway) and that is how she has made it.

Cheryl would NEVER have made it in the music business if she went solo early on in a competition like the X factor. I think she would of seriously got found out.

Cheryl won her place in Girls Aloud because she was a feisty one. She could also sing better back then as well. The girls singing were also judged on their personalities as well!

I would love another "Pop Stars the rivals"

Hand picking 5 half decent singers to be part of a pop group again!

Another thing, the way Simon Cowell and the way she is put across on TV and so on is as if she is an amazing performer, an amazing singer. As if she is better than Leona Lewis or something and a world class star who has it all when she clearly doesn't.

Its sad really. If she is just a glamour performer and a bit of fun and a personality, then put it across like that. Don't put her across as some sort of world class superstar with a top class voice.

Its so sad people buy into it.
