degrees are worthless unless you choose to work in that particular field, and most people end up with a silly degree they're never going to do anything with and £20k debt to go with it

I've worked in HR and currently a sub-manager dealing with a million xmas temp applications and interviews, I don't care about qualifications apart from the basics, don't know many people who do, experience, work ethic and potential is where it all counts. Its a misconception that crap qualifications = crap job and vice versa
