also I remember when telephones looked like this :
 It used to take forever to dial a number and I remember getting really annoyed when I'd make a mistake and have to start over again :/ my friends mom had a lock on hers to stop my friend running up the phone bill but we figured out how to tap the phone, by hitting the hang up button really quick (5 times for 5, 6 times for 6 etc.)
