AT 2am in a tacky Southend nightclub Jordan’s evening was fast becoming an unmitigated disaster. Booed off stage after the CD of her new single skipped three times, she necked vodka shots and whined about the wreckage of her short-lived pop career. As the cacophony of jeers and catcalls reached fever pitch, she stumbled over to husband Alex Reid to vent her frustration, in a rant that sounded like fingernails being dragged down a blackboard.

“We’ve done the wedding for TV, that’s it! It’s all over now!” she was overheard shrieking, as she jabbed a cerise pink acrylic fingernail at Alex’s face

All around the packed VIP area, clubbers stared at Katie Price as she screeched at 35-year-old Alex, who was stone cold sober in preparation for his next cage-fight. Few who overheard that vicious outburst in July could have doubted that, at that moment, Alex must have realised things were over. But six months on, Katie is still playing a ludicrous will-she/won’t-she? game about whether she is about to officially declare her marriage over. On Thursday her lawyers sent out a message warning news photographers to stay away from her £2million mansion in Woldingham, Surrey.

Soon after her split from Andre, Katie’s friends – with her permission – sold the “first” shot of her in a clinch with Alex in a pool in Marbella. But within weeks cracks in the romance were showing. And by that ill-fated night at Mayhem last summer, the situation was critical. Alex had to bundle his drunken wife into the back of a car and look after her as she vomited repeatedly on the long drive back home to Surrey.

Perhaps that grubby episode in July best sums up their marriage – Katie, the bolshy control-freak who loses her temper with spectacular consequences when things don’t go her way and Alex, bemused, out of his depth and unable to harness his express-train of a wife. No wonder those who witnessed such nasty spats gave their relationship little hope – despite the couple’s displays of love for the cameras.

Heartbroken Alex Reid has told wife Katie Price she’ll have to pay him £1million if she wants him out of her life.

But Katie has vowed not to give him a penny of her *£30million fortune.

The Sunday Mirror can reveal that she ordered him out of their Surrey home last week and had the locks changed.

But cage fighter Alex broke back in and now refuses to leave.

Katie claims he wants her to buy him a new home and set him up in business. In *return, he says he’ll never darken her doorstep again.

But Katie, aka *model *Jordan, says he has earned £250,000 on the back of her fame since they wed 11 months ago – and *deserves no more.

Alex says Katie offered him £250,000 this week to sign a *confidentiality agreement not to talk about their marriage – a claim she denies – but he *refused.

Last night a pal of Alex’s said: “She locked him out and changed the locks. He’s had to break in there.”

Now Katie has had to spend the last two nights away from her home because she doesn’t want to be under the same roof as him.

Katie Price is said to have told Alex Reid to leave the place they shared after reportedly telling friends the relationship is definitely over.

The pair were due to make an announcement last week but it was reported that the glamour model postponed it because Alex wanted more time to talk about their relationship and come to terms with the news.

Katie, 32, reportedly told friends: "I need him out of my house, and I need him out of my life for good."

The world champ came out punching on Sunday and hit out at the "twisted" rumours publicly on Twitter that Katie had dumped Alex for him.

"I am no marriage-wrecker," the Daily Star quoted WBA light-welterweight champ as saying.

"Stories about me and Katie Price are not true! I didn't even see or meet her in Vegas!

"So you all know, papers say it's because of me, Katie Price split up with Alex.

"That's not true. I got nothing to do with it. We just friends (sic), I can't believe how everything's twisted!" he added "I'm an innocent Bolton lad."

It seems the saga that is the Katie Price and Alex Reid relationship may have finally come to an end, after the cagefighter was spotted moving back to his parents' house in Hampshire, this morning.

Looking tired and upset, Alex maintained a stony face as he unpacked his boxes and belongings after leaving the Surrey mansion he moved into with Katie in August 2009 - apparently for good.

And as well as getting help with the move from his parents Carol and Bob, Alex was also helped by the local police, who were called to help ensure access to the property.

Officers then stayed to ensure Alex and his parents continued to be able to get in and out of the house, and helped out with the unpacking.

After weeks of speculation, Katie Price has finally announced she has split from husband Alex Reid after just 11 months of marriage.

In a lengthy statement issued via her publicist, the glamour model, 32, concedes she married the cagefighter 'too quickly', but accuses him of being 'fascinated' by his new celebrity status.

The mother-of-three issued a statement after Reid, 35, was photographed moving back to his parents' house in Hampshire, this morning.

But the model claims his 'desire to promote himself caused a change in the dynamic of our relationship and contributed to our alienation'.

Tobago-born footballer Dwight Yorke was a player for Manchester United when he first met Price in a Soho nightclub after a game at Charlton.

The pair embarked on a rocky on/off relationship, which was well documented in the tabloids, but came to an end when she fell pregnant with eldest son Harvey.

Price claimed two years ago their whole romance was never a 'proper' relationship', declaring 'it was more like drunken shags'.
