The best books I have read that make me use my imagination when reading are Stephen King's 'Dark Tower Collection (There are 7 books).
Not his usual style of horror writing, it follows the journey of a 'Gunslinger' Roland. Quote:
I could explain it better but I'm so tired at the moment. ![]() ![]()

![]() OMG! I have just found out he is writing an 8th book for Dark Tower. ![]() This makes me very happy as he said the 7th would be the last and that was 7 years ago. ![]()

I had chat/debate atwork tonight re Martina Cole..
Bloke said he would never ever read another one of her books as it was verging on depravation/porn.. Said they are completely woman's books and was quite disgusted by them! ![]()

Actually, that reminds me Josy, did you hear/read the book by Dave Pelzers brother (I think it was?). Basically his own account saying all Dave wrote was crap and their family was never that way and Dave wasn't mistreated? It struck me as wanting in on his success and bitterness

True. Loads came out all at once. They're still popping up to pull at the heart. But I'm not one to say if it's truth or not. Who can really?
