The real sad thing is, the character Jackson doesn't really want to die, he desperately though does not want to go on as he is. So, he needs others to be there and virtually end it for him. Very heavy storyline with massive knock on implications after the event too.

My guess is, as Pauline is leaving, is that Hazel takes the wrap

At least Jackson would be in peace, free of misery so that's some good even if the sad inevitable part for her is a prison sentence. A bonus is that this storyline would be over and Aaron's tear ducts will reduce.

I don't actually think the maximum 14 years sentence here for this kind of thing is right..

Switzerland do it I think, remember that documentary on BBC1 about that woman but before she went to do it had to go through the courts to beg them to promise not to charge her husband when she dies there.
