Heres the ratings to compare.
Monday Channel 5 Police Interceptors arrested 1.27m (5.7%) from 8pm Showing of The Ninth Gate mustered 1.57m (8.6%) from 9pm. Cricket On 5, recapping England's huge victory against India at Trent Bridge, grabbed a healthy 1.47m (7.4%) on the terrestrial channel in the 7pm hour. Overall, BBC One dominated primetime with 25.8% against ITV1's 19% (+1: 0.5%). Channel 5 came in third place with 7%, followed by BBC Two's 6.4% and Channel 4's 4.8% (+1: 0.8%). Channel 4 New series The Secret Life of Buildings debuted with 820k (3.7%) on Channel 4 in the 8pm hour and 136k (0.6%) on +1. Embarrassing Bodies enthralled 1.74m (7.3%) from 9pm and 383k (2.1%) on timeshift. Comedy drama Sirens concluded with 880k (5%) from 10pm and 125k (1.3%) an hour later. Saturday Channel 5 After cricket highlights scored 1.08m (6.4%) at 7pm, NCIS (8pm), 828k (4.4% CSI: Miami (9pm) 1.09m (5.6%) Law & Order: SVU (10pm) pulled in 1.15m (7%). Channel4 Channel 4's showing of Crocodile Dundee II brought in 1.09m (6.1%) from 7pm (+1: 243k), 943k (4.9%) tuned in for Camelot at 9pm 713k (4.9%) watched the film Cloverfield from 10pm Overall, BBC One owned primetime with 20.7%, ahead of ITV1's 16.6% (+1: 2.3%). Channel 5 claimed third place with 5.7%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.5% (+1: 0.9% Friday Channel 5 Danger: Diggers at Work's 838k (4.1%) for Channel 5. a repeat of The Mentalist took 864k (5.1%) Channel 4 1.46m (7.3%) tuned in for 8 Out of 10 Cats at 9pm (+1: 256k) Alan Carr: Chatty Man entertained 1.49m (7.7%) at 9.30pm (+1: 309k) Chris Moyles' Quiz Night continued with 1.16m (8.4%) at 10.30pm (+1: 215k). Also in the hour, Come Dine with Me served up 1.04m (5.1%) for Channel 4 (+1: 274k), Looks like Channel 5 are actually doing rather better Overall, ITV1 led primetime with 21.6% (+1: 0.7%), ahead of BBC One's 18.2%, BBC Two's 7.1%, Channel 4's 5.8% (+1: 1%) and Channel 5's 4.8%. Thursday Channel 5 How Do They Do It? grabbed 723k (3.8%) Aircrash interested 874k (4%) in the 8pm hour Cowboy Builders attracted 1.62m (7.3%) from 9pm. Fly-on-the-wall series Candy Bar Girls appealed to 481k (2.9%) from 10pm. Channel 4 Channel 4's Help! My House Is Falling Down attracted 1.39m (6.4%) in the 8pm hour and 287k (1.3%) on +1. 8 Out Of Ten Cats amused 880k (5%) from 10pm and 140k (1.4%) on timeshift. Overall, ITV1 narrowly won primetime with 20.4% (+1: 0.6%) against BBC One's 20.3%. BBC Two ranked in third with 7.2%, ahead of Channel 4's 5% (+1: 1.1%) and Channel 5's 4.3%. Wednesday Channel 5 Garden ER premiered with 553k (3.1%) The Removal Men: Pickfords was seen by 1.19m (6.1%) in the 8pm hour. NCIS had 1.25m (5.9%) from 9pm Panic Room mustered 611k (5%) from 10pm. Channel 4 Jo Frost: Extreme Parental Guidance disciplined 1.66m (8.5%) in the 8pm hour and 170k (0.8%) on +1. 24 Hours in A&A healed 2.66m (12.5%) from 9pm and 352k (2.2%) on timeshift. Murdoch: The Mogul Who Screwed The News grabbed 780k (4.8%) from 10pm and 159k (1.7%) an hour later. Overall, BBC One won primetime with 18% against ITV1's 16.4% (+1: 0.8%). Channel 4 came in third with 7.6% (+1: 1%), followed by BBC Two with 6.6% and Channel 5 with 4.5% Channel 5 are not beating Channel 4 in the viewer stakes but it is pretty much neck and neck. If Channel 4 didnt have plus 1 i believe Channel 5 would be way ahead. I am shocked though that Channel 5 are actually beating C4 on some days. Channel 4 does still have alot more to offer in the way of programming to c5 imo 8 out of 10 cats and Alan Carr: Chatty man being two great shows.
