Also in regards to this and to what Niamh said, I really don't understand how middle aged women can sit infront of the telly with a take away - drinking wine?

My Mum has now got to the point of doing it, I miss the days when she used to have her fit friends into the house drinking until Sunday.

I just don't get it though?

I mean surely when you're drinking wine infront of the TV by yourself or whatever - your main goal isn't to get completely smashed is it?

And even if you got 'Abit Tipsy' what is the point? When you're going to bed straight afterwards.

It just seems like a dull, boring waste to me.

I can understand - a couple of drinks of beer in the house and then going out clubbing, but I don't get this whole 'Let's drink wine with a lovely Chinese Take Out ladies! ' thing that women seem to do.
