That's a contradictory statement there. If is there for the people who he cares about, even when he obviously couldn't stand someone like Heaven, why would he think of a good thing to say about that person then.... given that one doesn't care for people they cannot stand.
so what you are saying really is that he's a hyocrite. I'd agree to that.
