They start about 2 weeks before Halloween here. Tends to be the same couple of people with different 20p masks on every night, as if you cant tell

Before I started being a 'halloween-scrooge' there was 2 guys, probably about 15/16 came round 3 times in one night. 2nd time they came I told them to piss off and stop being so greedy. 3rd time I didnt have to speak, they realised they had knocked on the wrong door when they recognized me and walked off

It was annoying as hell, first time they came with one in a mask and the other just standing, second and third time they both had masks. I think they were mainly doing it for the old people who would likely not realize it was the same people over and over (and who tend to give a bit more money than others)
