Yeah I think it's best for both of you to avoid bringing housemate's fans into this

I truly honestly HATE this rule on TiBB. The fans are given a huge role in deciding who gets to stay in the BB house and to not be allowed to talk about it, is honestly bs. If there is one rule that needs to be changed it is this one.

It can be ok to discuss fans to a certain extent, like to talk about the demographic of voters that certain HM's might attract, to say that Aaron attracts the older female vote or whatever. It onlt really becomes a problem when the comment is clearly intended to insult other members on here, i.e. Jay fans are morons or something like that

The problem is when is it an insult and when is it a justified criticism

I suppose that's when Mods use there discretion is it.

It's hugely frustrating not to be able to point out someone is not being genuine, but i suppose that's the price of a civilized Forum. its a Hard Job.

I agree it can be a grey area and can come down to personal judgement as to where "the line" is, I suppose as a general rule it's when it seems the intent of the comment is to try and insult/bait/etc. other members here. I don't think the rule prevents you from arguing that a housemate might not be genuine though?

For what it's worth if you do feel you were warned/infracted unfairly there is a private appeals section here for you to try and convince us

Damn Iv given the Lawyers a night off tonight.

Well it's in that grey area, and your never quite sure if when you enter into it, are you giving Mods the itchy trigger finger. I'm sure you give a warning post when it's feasible. But maybe not always.

I'm bookmarking that link anyway, not that i'm the type to inadvertently push boundaries like.
