If Aaron was not a self proclaimed player he'd be entitled to be judged in a straight forward manner such as in your analogy, however he has admitted manipulating votes, and the removal of any benefit of doubt in this situation is a price you pay, (a price his fans choose not to ask him to pay) if you are outed a player. Just as Anton has been.
You believe Aaron separates personal feelings from the game. therefor he gets your benefit of the doubt, i have no idea if he separates these two things.

Faye was up anyway i think ,Aaron did not nominate her,so he didn't add to her being up,Louise voted for Faye after BB nulled her vote for Tom,so really BB would have had the last say anyway.Everyone seemed somewhat confused he could have just as easily got flustered and made a mistake,but would not want to admit it.
