Excuse me, but having been in an abusive relationship myself in my twenties, both phyically and mentally by the way, I can categorically assure you that Aaron is a million miles from any such behaviour, and I know what I am talking about. Even more so I see some of myself in Faye, she clearly has very little self esteem and I would say she has suffered constant criticism and put downs all her life from Jem and her mother, therefore that is what she expects to hear and why she over-reacts to things Aaron says. The outfit incident was a prime example, Aaron simply meant that she had got changed very early, he wasn't digging at her at all. Faye misinterpreted the comment. She perhaps would benefit from some assertiveness courses or counselling, but probably can't see that herself at her age, however with age comes wisdom and I am sure that in the future they won't find it so easy to push her around.

I found your post disgusting, and very ill informed. People should think before they say stuff like that.
