Aarons for definite. I mean fair enough if Jay and Louise wanted to spend that stupid amount of money on people they don't even know that well, but A : I think if they had held off for a bit BB would have lowered the amount again and B : the 3 of them said no, If they had a change of heart they could have atleast told Aaron that and gave him the chance to be involved instead of sneaking off to the diary room behind his back and not even warning him

The poll very much appears to be showing what many of us already knew: Aaron displays the behaviours that most of us hold in high regard.

it's a very high responce too, around 200 voters so far so it's obviously a very important issue for people!

Exactly pyramid! Normal, everyday people would not spend that kind of money on birthday presents. Aaron is behaving how any of us would but is getting slated for it

Yep - given the amount of responses as you say FC, it's something that is important.

When the push comes to shove: people don't like back stabbers - and I have to say: it's quite heartening to see the poll going the way it is going.

And yep Niahm, I can say that with one exception only in my life - it's pretty normal to not spend that kind of money on one gift for a person you've only known 2 months - unless of course, you have millions in the bank. Far as I'm aware: most of us on here (and in the house) ...don't.

Kinda restored a wee bit of my faith seeing the poll going the way it is tbh.

Long may they continue Chuff........ it will ensure they are booted out the door.

In fact, I'd kinda like Jay to be the first booted out: with Louise thinking she's onto a winner, and then her being announced as the next one out the door.

Aaron has £990, he doesn't know whether or not Alex or Jay will stick to the agreement, I'd be pretty doubtful about it if I were him and even if does have £10000 why would he want to give hundreds of it away to relative strangers when he could be spending it on his son and his family?

But they haven't got it. That's the point.

Jay and Louise have shown that their word is not their bond.

if they could break a group agreement for the sake of £500.... you don't think they will break their agreement when it comes to £000's!!

Come on MTVN...surely you can see why it puts them in a very dubious light as far as them sticking to verbal group agreements is concerned.

Well if he has trust issues then that's different but I think Jay had a point when he said they've come in here with nothing and now have 10k which isn't really their money, it's Big Brother's, why not spend a bit of it on making your housemates birthday more enjoyable when you're gonna be spending the day with them

No not really and I don't particularly see much point in trying to draw comparisons between this and splitting the prize money, they didn't all sit down and swear on their mothers lives that none of them were going to buy a present, Aaron immediately ruled himself out before Jay and Louise and told them to go ahead if they wanted to.

That said, yes they should have told him but Aaron's reaction was a little over the top imo and Jay did try and apologise to him for it

I don't think doubting whether or not people who you're not exactly close to and most likely will never socialize with again will hand you over £10000 when they don't have to, qualifies as having "trust issues" and of course it will be their money so why not spend it more wisely then on ridiculously over priced gifts for people who aren't even that important to you? If I won £10000 I wouldn't even buy myself shoes for £500, it's a sickening amount of money to waste on something like that imo.

I'm not saying I don't believe that you cannot see the comparison - I do find it hard that you don't however.

As for swearing on mothers lives: well after Anton - we saw how much that nugget means - and Jay didn't have any issue with Anton using the same promise when he knew Anton was lying.....

It's all semantics anyway: Jay's not going to win - so he can keep his £14, 500 - or £10k share if he doesnt decide to change his mind like he did in Giftgate.

It's not really about the money or the gifts, but about Aaron's absurd reaction. He needs to take some responsibility for what he say and do too, and he never seem to, just blame everyone else. In the DR he didn't exactly seem willing to discuss anything with Lou and Jay, he put on a silly display, he told them to go ahead by themselves if they wanted to etc He then went on to not even go halfway and accept or really listen to Jay's explanation/apology or whatever it was meant to be, but instead chose to insult the guy whom has been spending quite some time lately trying to get along with Aaron and put aside past differences. Not to mention the sheer audacity to say something like that (true or false) when he himself is putting on a display for the cameras whenever it suits him.

I don't like some aspects of how Lou and Jay handled it, despite being quite partial to them both most of the time, but it does matter that Aaron's strop is part 358 of his never ending soap opera 'Me, myself and I', and it's getting really, REALLY tiresome.

Louise couldn't wait to tell Alex and Tom how much those presents cost. She came across as vulgar. Is she so obsessed with Jay that she cannot think for herself any more? 'I'm not shady me' - well you were last night love. As for Jay - he completely misunderstood Aaron when he told him 'you are still real though' in response to Jay saying 'It's not real in here'.

With Aaron 100% of the way - as are most of the general public.

I totally agreed with Aaron lastnight, that was far to much money to spend on someone, that you have only known for 8 weeks.

Jay & Louise only did this for the cameras, also they Louise kept going on about the cost, was out of order.

Any ideas why the clip has now been removed?perhaps they need to do an editing job on it!!!
