I think it's because of the invesitgations into his VTs because OFCOM believe they're glamourising alcohol abuse which is unfair to him as it's the way they've been edited which is down to ITV, and let's be realistic here the producers put him through to the live shows because he creates headlines, if the partying was such a problem then why did they follow him around with a camera and film it all? Because they encouraged him to party since it ties in with the character they want to portray, now that it's turned sour on them they've probably axed him for damage control and
IF that's the case then it's entirely unfair for both him and the people who have voted to keep him in.
