I think that's a bit of an exaggeration, he's never completely lost his grip on his anger, at worst he's taken it out on a pillow and to be honest I think in that environment anger must be incredibly hard to deal with because you can't escape it, he knows that he gets angry easily and it isn't something he's proud of
