Is Big Brother doing well for Channel 5? Is BB getting more viewers for the channel?Without BB would they still be getting these viewing figures?

BB1 on Channel 4 was huge averaging 4.5 million viewers and 9 million for the final.

Channel 5 viewing figures are normally in the hundreds of thousands so it's better than they normally get but I think they'd probably have hoped for about 2m throughout the series

Channel 5's ratings are regulary above 1 million. Big Brother is not even thier highest rated show.

Csi for instance gets about 1.7.

It sucks that TOWIE gets more viewers than BB now.

Even Misfits on E4 is beating our show.

C5 shouldn't have done such a shoddy job then. They have killed it for me. I'll finish watching this years one, only because Alex makes me laugh but then that's me done with this show.

I've only watched bits of this one because its been rubbish as a whole, its been like my version of what a druggy would get in rehab to wean them off whatever. I'm glad its failing because C5 have ruined the show, they deserve a burning £200m sized hole in their pocket

If they don't buck their ideas up and carry on like this year I dread to think how low the ratings will go in the middle of summer especially on a Saturday! Could be getting 5/600k viewers

I guess its all resting on the next CBB but I think 2012 will be the last series and this time it'll be axed for good.
