It's a bit premature to be doing interviews on Aaron not sharing the money (I don't think he should anyway) only a few days after winning... he has barely had time to see his son! Why would he be arrange to share the money already!

Well said. I think it said much that Aaron said he intended spending the money on his son. Not on 'me and my son'... but on 'my son'.

He also said that if Faye won, he wouldn't expect her to spend the money on him, that he'd want her to spend it on herself - not on him.

If he was that selfish: he would put himself first always - he doesn't, and we saw that time and time again on the show.

Thoroughly decent human being Aaron is, no matter which way you look at it.

It says much that there is much ado by some on here about whether he should share the dosh or not: as if that was the be all and end all to winning the show.

It's not about the money: it's about the fact that Aaron happened to win, and some don't like that.

He'd have been happy, imo, if he'd won and not won a penny. Winning the show is most likely the best accolade for a die hard BB fan like Aaron.

I'm so confused... they agreed to split the $50K that BB split from the $100K total, right?? When did anyone say that the winner was supposed to share the other $50k. Nowhere was it said that they were to split the $100K ----- Did I miss something? Every time they mentioned spitting the money they all said we each get $10K. Someone tell me when they ever said they'd split the entire prize fund???

Aaron shouldn't share it. He won it fair and square. Why the hell would he give 20k to someone that he didn't even like? Would be foolish of him.

I agree.

and not only foolish: it would be then regarded by some as being hypocritical of him - seeing as he made it clear what his feelings on Jay were.

Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't: so on that basis alone - he should keep the full lot. He did win it fair and square (which is more than can be said of how BB and BNOTS treated him throughout the entire series)

As for Aaron splitting the money, reread Jay's mum's news item interview, she clearly states Aaron said Should, not would, share the money, so Aaron has no reason to, no actual pact was made, and Jay's mum decided to make it look like it was one sided and Jay said nothing or initiated it, as Jay himself wouldn't win anyway

Plus there will be plenty to be made by Aaron to still decide whether to give the money if he wants to, but I now hope he doesn't, his son deserves it more than Jay, who can make his own money off the back of the show.

Aaron should give the money to his son as he intends to, I am sure you were always going on about his son, so when Aaron decided to give the money to him, you still go on about it? and still call Aaron nasty, filthy, words/names.

Dude don't even bother with them. Some of his fans act like he is their child or something and that they need protect him from the big bad bully. Some of them come up with every excuse in the book for him. Thats just the way it is. Just let them be.

Yes, but "the rest" includes Jay so if he's not going to share with the other three, then why should Aaron share with Jay?

You may not be attacking in the classic sense, but it's pretty close to being considered antagonistic I'd say.

Not to worry...... if Aaron fans want to defend him, they are quite within their rights to do so.

Another thing. Big Brother was wrong to not give the winner the full 100k. They all signed up for winner getting 100k. By doing this nonsense, whats to stop BB from only giving the winner 1k or something like that next time?

Aaron - £35k
Jay - £35k
Louise - £10k
Alex - £10k

If it is the 30k and 20k split, then it would be...

Aaron - £40k
Jay - 30k
and then the rest with £10k.

I'm not disagreeing.... I'm simply saying that it's their show, their rules: and as they say all the time, as it's in each of the HM's contract - BB can change the rules at any time.

If they decided to reverse the winnings and give it to the runner up; they could do that I'm sure .... as long as they have their backsides covered by the small print.
