I can say hand on heart that at given stages of my life: I have been under the influence of one, other or both - and never once did it produce such racist, venomous hatred for another human being in the way it did with her.

I know we aren't all the same: but I find it hard to believe that such clear hatred would be spat out in the way she did, because she must have been under the influence. It's no excuse, regardless.

Boer...that's the correct spelling. I used 'boar' earlier on. (I used to date a lad when I was a teenager in Saudi, who was a SA Boer. Bloody gorgeous he was too). Jan Van Der Laan. Scrumptious guy.

On the subject of languages - I noticed how 'well spoken' those that the women in the tram was addressing, in comparison to her own way of speaking..... completely showed her up at every turn.

I don't think so, it's probable that she's just a racist, saw there were a fair few people of other nationalities/races and went off on one

I think (?) Niahm said much the same thing earlier in the thread: that was the real concerning part of it: the child was completely unfazed by her ranting..... just shocking.

Far as I'm concerned, given that she was committing a criminal act - to try to hide that because the child was filmed - is pretty petty imo. Hundreds of thousands of clips are on youtube of youngsters, and you can be sure that their parents haven't consented to them.

people have a right to be able to get on a public tram and not be filmed by someone though, especially people with children

the news agencies are correct to do so as they are obliged to meet with regulations and legislation to ensure they follow such practices.

I do not believe that the poster of this video should be taken to task - in any way, shape or form. They were filming a criminal act taking place.

If that's all that's needed to protect criminals, they just need to ensure they have a young child to hand at all times.
