Also if they dont get married immediately, pop out a load of sprogs, and stay together until one of them dies it is fake too. You know...because every relationship lasts forever

It was a lot better than I expected considering the job C5 tried to do on him during BB, so maybe that's why I enjoyed it, as it wasn't what I espected, which I thought would be at least 90% anti Aaron.

It would take Anton 10 years to save up for a sweater like that

Finally got some answers to my questions posed to channel 5 regarding the aftermath of the Lords victory and 'that' question from Pete (*$^&) Burns
Dear Correspondent Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding Big Brother. We were pleased to read that you found this year’s programme to be one of your favourites. However, we were disappointed that you felt that Aaron was not shown dignity or respect when he was announced as the winner and subsequently interviewed on both the main programme and on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side. Big Brother’s Bit On The Side has always been an irreverent and frank look at events and individuals in the Big Brother house and this is well understood by viewers and housemates alike. As you are aware, housemates enter the house knowing that they will be subject to criticism by viewers, panelists and the wider media, often in a manner not to their taste and liking. That being said the programme and series seeks to include a diverse range of views in a balanced manner. Pete considered his question to be in line with the well known ethos of the series. Indeed he is a regular commentator on the programme (and has been a housemate in a previous series) and is well known for his strong, and at times, scathing opinions. Pete’s question was unscripted. That being said, the presenters were careful to ensure that after he asked the question, it was sufficiently contextualised and that Aaron was given an opportunity to respond if he wished. The roaming presenter Alice was quick to point out that she thought Pete’s question had “darkened the mood of the party”. Emma, from the studio, also asked if anyone else had a different question. Alice then moved on to Carole Vincent, who asked a question concerning Aaron’s relationship with Faye. Emma then asked Aaron if he wanted to say anything in response to Pete’s question, telling him that “if there’s anything you want to say feel free to say it, if there isn’t we can just move swiftly on”. Aaron opted to briefly comment, and the conversation then moved on. While we appreciate that some viewers may have found Pete’s question to be somewhat intemperate, particularly during the final episode of the series, we feel that in the overall context of the programme and the series as a whole, the question did not exceed audience expectations of Pete or the series and the question was handled in a sensitive manner. We did encourage the presenters of our programmes covering Big Brother to express their opinions on the housemates as this made for more engaging discussions, but we did not feel that this equated to displaying a bias to any of them. Nonetheless, we have logged your comments regarding Brian’s handling of the eviction crowd, Pete’s question to Aaron, the general impartiality of the show’s presenters and your request that the live feed be reintroduced in our Viewer Enquiries Report. This is circulated throughout the company and seen by all relevant personnel. Thank you for your interest in Channel 5.
