Yeah, I know, the dog who just died was really nervous, especially of strange men. I reckon someone really hurt her before she was rescued. Gav had her for 12 years but she never lost that fear of people.

But yeah, that's why I like to get them from shelters, because alot of them have had bad lives beforehand

It always seems with rescues that it's men they're afraid of not women....one of ours, who is dead now was afraid of one of my sons..but more so when he wore dark colours......he becambe closer to my son than any of us eventually

Yeah, they must have bad experiences with men rather than women I suppose.
