Mollie is an interesting case on TiBB – to my knowledge, she is the only user to pretend she was male, reveal herself to be female and not face any backlash for it – but in fact become a staple part of everyday forum life and do so well on the Most Loved countdown. Formerly known as TheHarbinger, Mollie’s revelation about her gender endeared herself to people who were more understanding of someone who chose to tell her story rather than for it to be found out. One member acknowledged this period of time, saying of Mollie: “another really friendly member, I love how open she is about herself now after she revealed she was a girl. She hasn't really changed at all though from her TheHarbinger days.” One user chose to vote for Mollie because she “is someone I sort of spoke to before but over the last few months I’ve spoken to her a lot more and I’m so glad. She and I both love Pixie Lott, she’s lovely to talk to and she ran the TiBB BB game in September which I believe she did a very good job with.” Mollie’s been described by one person as “my favourite female member currently on here. She adds a lot to the forum whether it just be by her witty comments or her games/competitions/graphics. This all topped off of course by always ensuring she has a hot girl in her avatar and sig!” She picked up a variety of votes for her allegiances to housemates in Big Brother: “Faye is the way 2012”, “diehard Maisy fan” and “she deserves a high placing just because she loves Anton so much” serving as examples of this. She was compared to GypsyGoth by one member, who noted that Mollie is “a nice girl who I think is a bit like GypsyGoth in the sense of kindness, I think she is quite sensible and her opinions tend to be right.” Mollie’s “wonderfully creative” and “a sweetheart.” As one member puts it: “her graphics kick some serious butt!”
