Sticks made a valid point and I agreed with it. The woman was remanded because the magistrate said it was for 'her own safety'

That's not a just reason to remand someone imo.

No, perhaps not, and I did not infer it was: I pointed out very clearly, that that was not the only reason she had been remanded..... another reason being that she has apparently broken the law and has been remanded for that reason.

Sometimes it's better to consider all the info, rather than just a tiny little select part of it.
