Atheism is no religion. The only people who turn it into a nice, neat 'system' of people are people like you.

If I'm an atheist I'm one by default because that's what the dictionary describes me as. Not because I conciously decided "let's be atheist". Let's go to the atheist club house and hang out and talk about atheism.

It's not a belief or adherence to anything. It's the complete opposite of that. Why would you be iffy about it just because they don't believe in anything? Do you think you need some mad belief in something spiritual to make life worthwhile?

Just ... mad really. I don't respect atheism but I do respect all religions. Even the many crazy ones that beat the shit out of women.

Or let me guess they aren't really religious and are misinterpreting your view of what it is so they don't count in your eyes?

That means it can be offensive to others because it was made to oppose other religions
And course it isnt a religion
BTW PEOPLE CAN BELIEVE WHATEVER THEY WANT- i just think if people dont have a religion they should be "no religion"
Also i would vote for people regardless of their beliefs but im just trying to see it from the other perspective which no one else seem to do

Eh I don't really understand what you're saying, you seem to think Athiesm is another structured belief system just like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism etc. etc. battling it out for religious supremacy

Athiesm is "no religion", why on earth are you trying to make some kind of distinction between the two? It literally means "without Gods", what do you think is the difference between being an "Atheist" and having "no religion"?

Well it was just weird that you repeatedly distinguishing between Athiesm and "no religion" when they're the same thing

And the reason it matters is because it seems that a lot of politicians struggle to separate their faith from their politics, especially with the Republican party

So Religious people get offended because people don't believe in their God? Or do they get angry because not everyone is a mindless sheep that lives their lives according to old books and fairy tales?
