About 3% are black, and yeah that was Midsomer Murders, they wanted it to be all-white because they thought it would more fairly reflect a rural English village

In the villages? Because they're lot of black people in London.

About 3% overall for England and Wales according to here http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datab...-england-wales but in London it's 40% non white, 10% of which are black apparently
