Naw but I think it mostly came down to the fact that all but one of my friends left my primary school over the years so I only had one friend in my last year there. I've since got in touch with most of them but obviously 6-10 years since you last saw someone is hardly an inspiration to become friends again lol. I was lucky in secondary school though, all of my friends stayed until the end and I still have a lot of friends from school despite it ending in 2009.

Thinking about it I had quite a lonely childhood when school wasn't on, like at home or afterschool club. My Mum being a single mother struggled but I had my imagination and so all my memories were a lot of the time me alone (obviously with adult supervision but not with friends). It sounds so lonely and sad when I tell people but I think back and just view them as bright fun memories. Because all I needed was my imagination back then.

I was (am) was the same... .only child and moved around the world a fair bit so time often was spent alone: but I was never lonely - because being on my own was 'normal' for me and I didn't find it an issue not having siblings.

I piss myself laughing recalling all the daftness I used to get upto on my own - as you say: with my imagination. It was great fun!

I often think of the things I used to get up to when I was little. I wasn't an only child I was just an outcast of sorts.

I never really included myself in things and most of the time I was left to my own devices.

It's nice to know I wasn't the only one like that. It always seems silly thinking back to being very young and thinking that's how I was, and I almost feel embarassed. But yeah, imagination is such a wonderful thing and I only look back with happy memories. As you say, being on my own was what I was used to.
