With Kirkwood leaving and a new permanent exec producer to be announced soon, there's bound to be a cull of the cast. We don't know how many they'll get rid of but it's usually at least two.

My main two I hope go are the Moon brothers. Awful characters, totally wooden and neither can act. They should have gone ages ago. Derek Branning is another who I hope gets axed, seems like everywhere I go online he is hated. Only people I know who like him are a couple of members on here and on DS. The actor is far too panto and he just has one of those faces you want to punch.

Also would be happy to see the following leave: Alfie and Kat (been ruined since their return, especially Kat. She used to be my favorite character but I hate her now), Roxy (all she ever does is shout, bad actress and there's nothing really left for her in Walford anymore), Ben (nasty character played by a bad actor with a punchable face, every storyline lately seems to feature him and it's annoying), Jay (dull, what's the point in this character?) , Whitney (overused, always moaning about something and I don't think Shona who plays her is a very good actress), Rose (liked her to begin with but she tends to annoy me now, wouldn't miss her if she left), Andrew (another dullard, no point in him sticking around once Hev's gone), Lucy (preferred the old Lucy, can't warm to this new one at all. Actress who plays her is awful. At least old Lucy was likeable), Mandy (still not fussed on her, much preferred Jane. Just an unlikeable character), Billy (yet another dullard. Should have been axed years ago) , Syed, Christian, Jack, Afia and Lola (LOLA = Laugh Out Loud Acting is what they call her on DS and the actress who plays her hasn't improved since she started, whiny voice and can't warm to this chav)

A lot of those characters are just deadwood who serve little or no purpose to the show. Obviously they won't all go but I hope at least some do.

Anyway for me, It's Kat, Whitney, Afia, Mandy - infact I can't even be bothered to list them, there's that many.
And it's either for the reason that they bring nothing to the show, and they're dull to watch or all they do is complain and moan and it brings it down.

I despise Whitney so much for that reason.

And the new Lucy is VERY likeable The old one was a sour faced old bitch who was over rated anyway.
This one is much more suited to being Ian Beale's daughter - as she's up herself, she's one of the hottest actresses the show has seen and she works well with Lauren.

Lauren - I think has a future on the square aswell, and I use to hate the new Lauren.

I know it's a lot but for me personally I wouldn't miss any of them if they were to leave tomorrow. When Santer was in charge, the number of characters I wanted axed was much shorter. Kirkwood has ruined some characters who before he took over I used to really like.

Some could grow on me in time but I doubt many of them will. Far too many deadwood characters on EE at the moment.

The Moon Brothers annoy me so much. Tyler more than anything, I don't think Anthony is that bad. Whitney can go, in bored of her. Derek needs to be killed and soon. I'm glad Heather is being killed off. Ben won't be around long, given what he dies next week. Lola is terrible. Roxy needs to **** off with its nit infested kid that never talks.

There's plenty more but I can't think of them.

Surprised to see so little mention of the Moon brothers. They are both terrible but I do agree Tyler is definitely the worst out of the two.

Tyler, Anthony is alright away from his brother.

I would axe Tanya, Lauren, Ben and Lucy. Kat could go with Shenice because her character is ruined now.

I dont think Kat is returning, and I dont miss her on the show shes been awful. Alfie and Roxy should both stay and have a storyline together.

Ben lock him back up, Jay, he dont add much but I really like him tbh. Him and Lola need more scenes.

Rose needs to develop a purpose, too soon to have her leave already. And agree about Andrew although I reckon hes gone after the Heather storyline concludes.

Lucy and Mandy are a good watch??? I like whats happening with them 2. Leave them be.

Syed and Christian can go, both bore the hell out of me. I dont like Jack without Ronnie, let him go until she returns. And Afia is a nice side character I like her.

Billy... well hes just part of the furniture. Would love Honey to return so much.

I don't mind Lola, she needs more character development because I liked her dynamic with Billy and Julie with the stuff about the care home until Julie left.

Roxy has been rather good recently IMO and I am glad she has been given the chance to prove she is her own person now Ronnie is not around.

I really like Whitney, thought they were lining her up to be the new Stacey at one point but yeah she has been rather predictable recently and not learnt from her mistakes.

Billy needs more storylines because I like him when he shows more of a backbone.

Kim and Christian need more screentime and storylines because both Temeka and Johnny are so fun in RL and I adore their characters.

Denise is so underused, such a shame as Diane Parish is a fab Actress.

Problem with EE is that even though Bryan Kirkwood has gone the current writing team are still intact and they are to blame for the way of the recent decline of quality in the show with storylines and characters,

The writing needs to be better to make characters more likeable, plot driven and storylines interesting again but this can only happen with a overhaul of the current writing team and changes made because changes cannot be made with just the cast, even though half of the problems are not their fault at all.

Andrew won't stick around anyway. He's only there as a plot device for Heather's exit. He'll probably get the blame.

I'd like Christian axed, the Moon brothers and maybe Syed too (his hair offends me).

But, they really need to sort out the stories and the writing. They've got potential in a lot of characters they just need to be used properly.

But, if we're talking of castings I'd like them to replace Derek with Suzy. She was good.
