All hail the Moyesiah

Hmm actually googling it it seems a lot of people thought it was predictable, guess I just didn't really notice the clues
I still think it's a great film though, I think I could see it again knowing what was going to happen and still be entertained by it

Spoiler: I'm going to spoiler those eventhough most people will have seen them anyway, I really hate when people or reviewers tell you there's a twist and you're trying to figure out what it will be all the way through the film, it's so much better when you don't expect it!

The Safety Of Objects, it was unusual, the movie was about a few families. And I guess the people in it are emotionally or spiritually lost. Worth watching.

Saw Hunger Games a few days go on opening night:
Negative: - Camera Too Shaky at points - Too many awkward angles and shots - Being a fan of Woody Harrelson, I was dissapointed he didn't really portray haymitch properly , thought he would do a good job portraying a bad ass - Some odd casting choices ( Cato and Clove ) comes to mind -FAKE fire effects that made me lol Positives: -Jennifer Laurence was an amazing actress -Effy did an amazing job ( good chemistry between her, the tributes and haymitch, although not portraying the relationship in the book very well ) - Good job on sets and locations -Had most of what was in the book Overall: 7/10 Good but by no means great

Dead Birds. Creepy in places with a couple of bits that made me jump... but kind of predictable and a bit slow. 6/10

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
I found it to be a better adaption then the swedish original but I hated how both films spoil important plot details of The Girl Who Played With Fire. Good film otherwise. 8.5/10. |

I have seen it a few times, but it's not one I possess on DVD so I downloaded it from SKY Anytime+. It's not my favourite Tarantino film, but I love most things Juliette Lewis appears in. It's one I would watch over again for the OTT imagery and wry humour.

you are so right! it's been 23 mins and I am so into this film already! I am not falling asleep with my eyes open at all! "i am not put off by sex. I enjoy it! I could spend the rest of my life getting laid!" to the doctor. best line from a movie ever!

Cloverfield. Not too keen on the 'found footage' style, but quite enjoyed it. 7/10

Contagion.
It was alright... felt like it was trying too many different angles, though. It reminded me of 'Crash'. A very star-studded cast and lots of different problems trying to be tackled but there's not really any resolution or coherent message. It should've tried more to focus on the personal side because they've got the actors to pull off an emotional impact (Matt Damon's acting is, as always, excellent), but there were a host of political tangents that just felt a bit shallow (Laurence Fishburne's character) and stereotypical (Jude Law's sceptical journalist).
