So has she dumped the rugby player boyfriend that she had in that enormously insightful documentary they did a couple of years ago. I sat thru four hour long episodes yet by the end I still didn't know a damn thing about any of them that I hadn't already seen in the press. He's an officer in the British Army. You don't get to be one of those by being stupid. What makes me laugh about this is that Prince Harry is dating some gorgeous pop singer and the press are already imagining the wedding pictures. Truth is, I can't imagine him settling down for some time to come. I wouldn't if I was him... Would you?

I know a few people in the Blues and Royals because my husband was on Light Aid Detachment with them. He has the respect of his fellow officers and the lads serving under him. He's also respected by squaddies generally. He's been to Afghanistan... you can't lead men in Afghanistan if you're an idiot. He is a career soldier. He's not a ceremonial soldier like so many royals. He deserves his rank because he worked for it alongside all the others.

Well, that's good to hear, I quite like Harry actually but you can't help but be a little sceptical when you hear of royals rising to certain positions in the army!
