This happened once to me recently. I fell asleep at about 1am without meaning to, then I woke up and thought it was about 6am in the morning because it just felt like that; I had a dream whilst I was asleep that lasted for what felt like ages. Turned out though I was only asleep for an hour and it was 2am when I woke up
