And every year it got less and less due to being hammered from ofcom until they werent able to do it come on daniel you know this i mean ffs in bb1 they were allowed to buy as much as they wanted and they started drinking at 9am and were slaughtered by mid day.
In bb2 they were restricted to only a percentage of it to be spent on alcohol.
by bb5 it was locked away in a fridge and supplied at big brothers discretion.

The rules on how alcohol is shown on tv have changed dramatically over the last ten years if you think C4 were at fault for the alcohol thing then your nieve at best.

Go google it.
It was programmes like Ibiza uncut that caused most of the change they used to show people unconscious in the gutter covered in there own vomit on a nightly basis lol.

The BB5 thing was part of the "Evil" side depriving them of luxuries.

BB3 and BB4 pretty much had alcohol on tap and BB2 was rationed so that doesnt really fit in with the houses getting less and less as the series progresses.

BB9 Did actually get alot of alcohol, it was just BB10 and BB11 where BB become incredibly strict so dont have an orgasm.

In regards to the way alcohol consumption should be shown on tv comment...How do you explain Geordie Shore? That programme shows, fist fights an binge drinking.

Utter drivel why not educate yourself instead of just spouting guesses with a camp quip on the end?

You said the way alcohol is shown on tv has changed but how do you explain Geordie Shore were the participants are shown having fist fights and binge drinking?

Show me an article that relates specifically to live feed.
I think you must have me mistaken for someone else do your own research and come back with something.
To show alcohol being consumed on tv they now have to be able to justify it as being necessary to the show or the story they cant justify 15 people drinking 10 cans of lager a night for 80 days running anymore thats why it stopped and thats why they now get more beer again in the house because we arent seeing them drink it because theres no live stream anymore.

All the morons that berated c4 for the lack of alcohol when it was beyond their control contributed to the scrapping of the live feed.

If that orange idiot show shore starts to show people on the lash every night for 80 nights on the trot then that will be a valid question.

But they still show them consuming alcohol every night to the point of them acting like morons.

They dont have to give them alcohol every night but they could give them a fair ammount like 3 times a week for passing tasks ect.

Much more than BB11.

What im trying to say is BB11 went way to far and Channel 4 could have easily given them more than 1 can! Channel 4 just took it to far.

I dont wanna see them pissed every night but are you honestly saying that Channel 5 couldnt have a live feed and still give the housemates enough alcohol to get drunk like 3 times a week?

Last nights show the drinks were delivered 20 mins from the end of the show and there 2-3 shots of a housemate drinking from a glass of beer. i.e. editorially justified its hardly watching them get slaughtered over the course of 6 hours is it.

Oh btw that orange shore thing you were on about caused the issue to be raised in parliment and further restrictions were reccomended so the how come they can do it argument is invalid they cant.

I dont like it it ruins the fun i mean they arent even allowed to have alcohol at evictions they used to lock them in the living room and leave them to get slowly pissed from 4pm onwards you wont see a single drop live on eviction night now.

If i remember rightly C4 were rapped and told that they werent allowed to show a housemate exceeding the reccomended daily amount of units and the total for the week doesnt exceed the weekly reccomended amount. but that didnt stop the mungo brained amongst us being ignorant and blaming it on C4 and then congratulating C5 for giving them more even though it is at the cost of the live feed and we dont even get to see it.

I would rather have a dry house with 24 hour live feed than a pissed one with only 5 hours of highlights per week.
