Deana wasn't trying to start an argument with him, she wanted to try and sort this out with him in a calm manner, but as always he just talked over her and was rude.

And how can you say he's turned the corner? he's still nasty and is still trying to influence others to nominate Deana, his bizarre hatred for her is still there.
