No because as 'ugly' as women may find Rooney, he could still have almost any girl he wanted but chose to pay for it. He didn't want hassle of an affair, just the sex. And sex how he wanted it. Not having to give a sh*t what the woman wants. He's in control. And when it's over like all clients he can throw his money down on bed and tell prostitute to ******* off.
I think the image of using a prostitute has changed. It seems like a laddish thing to do, guys boasting to their mates. Married men confiding to their single friends that they needed a sexual rush without their wives.
