Brian never hugged her and was quite stand offish in interview there were one or two uncomfortable pauses and the whole Ashley saga part of discussion went on too long and was biased. then he said rhians boyfriend had declined to appear without further explanation

Yes, that was dreadful. She must have felt awful, imagining all sorts of reasons why he wasn't there, but handled it well.

I like Brian, but thought he was unnecessarily stand-offish with Rhian. Usually, it's clear when he disapproves an HMs behaviour, but is careful to give them the benefit of the doubt and a chance to explain themselves. He wasn't with Rhian.

I didn't know that Vernon's Mrs was his BFF.

It's fine for Brian to have an opinion formed by antics in the house but he should NOT as a presenter make it a personal attack regardless of who he is friends with in the real world.
People tend to forget (including T Daly, perhaps) that texting is a 2 way thing!

I have always liked Brian,but seeing how cold he was to her,I thought he was very rude,I couldn't understand why,after reading the comments on here,it all makes sense,he really should have been more professional,and has gone way down in my expectations.

I thought he was a bit mean, you can see why vernons head was turned she is very nice, just like ash he prob mistook her being nice for the green light...men eh? haha

It was interesting to see the HL clip showing her antics with Ash. I was waiting for the damning evidence of her betraying her BF and leading Ash on. But there was nothing. There was a 1/2 clip of Ash jumping onto the bed beside her, during the day. Considering the amount of time spent questioning her on it, you might imagine they would have dug up some on-screen dirt.

The only conclusion is that there was nothing in it really, just a guy taking rejection very badly.

And if Rhian's BF was really in a nearby hotel waiting for her, then Brians statement was very wrong. A deliberate attempt to hurt. And it worked, you could see it in her eyes.
