I respect other peoples religions, although I do not want to be converted if that makes sense LOL. RE was probably my favourite subject at school so it explains why different cultures intrigue me etc.

I believe in a God, but I don't really have a particular Religion that I follow as I don't believe in there views.

You can't go around claiming that science "doesn't know certain stuff" when you "don't know stuff" either. You're confusing the theoretical aspect of science with total darkness. The recent and future investigations into the Higgs Boson particle and further discoveries may well prove final answers. To dismiss that because it's not been done yet is not only impatient but incredibly self-centred and naive.

But surely if there's not much evidence in favour of either side of the argument you can't really choose one when there's just as much evidence for the other (in fact probably even more)? Works both ways.

Well it's sort of like I'm halfway in, halfway out. I tell myself God exists but another part of me nags away, pointing out how preposterous it seems. But then I don't really want to accept that because atheism is such a bleak thing.

The belief of being nothing when it's all over. That bleakness perhaps. It's one of the reasons I hold Final Fantasy VII in high regard, because of the idea of the lifeforce and being simply transformed back into the energy that drives it all. Not so bleak.
