It does seem a total witch hunt now tbh. Seems anyone who has known him is willing to jump on the bandwagon for a quick $. Sad really. I cant see there being truth to these stories. Surely if he had attacked his manager the police would have been contacted, same with strangling someone.

There has to be something in it. Never before has there been a 'witch hunt' and there is no reason for it to be one now. The guy has a really good voice, and if the public vote for him, then they would buy his recordings. It doesn't add up that it's simply a 'witch hunt'.
All signs point to him not being a nice person. The producers don't like him, the judges don't like him and even James has been quoted as calling him a diva. There is no affection or warmth between him and the other contestants.
It's obvious Caroline and Olly haven't much time for him. Even Gary gives lip service without any real belief or warmth towards him.
It's all there to see in front of our eyes. I have to admit I do feel a bit sorry for him, but if everyone who is working closely with him doesn't like him and can't hide it, then the little bit of sympathy I have for him is probably misguided. I don't like anyone being picked on, ever, but in this case I feel there is something in it and that maybe we don't even know the extent of the probably valid reasons for the dislike for him....
