So Eastenders I would leave as it is now.

Hollyoaks, I would split Ste from Doug and have him link up with Brendan again, I would write out Mitzi and her Sister too,I cannot see much purpose for them to be in Hollyoaks now anyway.

noo way the whole love triangle is dull. Ste, Doug & Brendan can piss off, they are well past their sell by date.
