This one reminded me of a story about my aunt, she'd moved to England, her name was Eithne and she had the same problems as this so she met a guy and she told him her name was Mary just because she was fed up with repeating her name numerous times and spelling it out etc etc, she ended up marrying this guy but for the first few months of their relationship he never knew her real name
