This Witch doesn't burn

A person who was genuinely looking for food would have knocked politely .not spoken in a provocative tone, while filming the staff. This guy was just trying to humiliate them for his and his mates entertainment. No need to film the encounter surely if all he is interested in is a Big Mac.

Not sure that I would be humiliated if I was working in a shop that was supposed to be open till 12, but I closed it at 1145.
It's hardly a life of shame that will be brought upon my family. Last edited by Jesus.; 07-05-2013 at 08:27 AM. |

well if you see the lights are off, and the doors are locked, why would you start banging on the doors and yelling at the staff and recording it? Obviously they knew the place was closed, but they DID want to humiliate the staff and confront them and make a video out of it. those guys were being TWATS.

How exciting a facebook/yt video would be with a McDonalds closed 15 minutes early. I'm sure it would reach gangnam style level of hits within 2 minutes.
What excellent footage he would have got himself. Until that woman escalates things, he has no footage. |

There seem to be rights and wrongs in that instance, as many have pointed out why was it being filmed? However, If a shop/takeaway etc; closes at a certain time, it should serve up to that time, and allow for what's left of clearing up after that time. If not, then closing time should say be set half hour earlier then, and the extra half hour used to clean up before going home.
It's not hard to work out how many if any customers might turn up that late. I used to work at a fish and chip shop, and worked unsociable hours, I loved that job. Come close to closing time, we made sure we had a few bits left to serve, and chips and even fish took little time to cook anyway if the customer was prepared to wait. We also cleaned as we went along running up to closing time as it was far less busy. You also pretty much got into a routine of how to deal with or calm down a narky customer, which I have to say were few and far between.
