The weight thing I do not understand at all. They moaned at me because she was in the '9th percentile'..which apparently means 91% of babies her age are heavier than her. So how on earth does that make her underweight? Do they moan at everyone who isnt spot on in the middle?

My mum told me not to listen at all on the weaning thing. I was weaned at 3 months, as were my brother and sister. Apparently the guidelines were 3 months when I was a baby, then 4 months when my sister was, then 6 months for my brother. I dont think they actually have a clue to be honest :S

I was in my own bedroom at 10 DAYS old..and my brother and sister were in their own from birth.

I know I shouldnt listen to her and I should let it all go over my head, but it does get to you a bit when someone is standing telling you you are doing everything wrong and could be harming your child.
