But what if a gay male HM was not camp or effeminate but a really blokey guy eg BB5 Victor or BB12 Jay McKray?

Brian's humour was bound up in the fact he was gay. Most camp and effeminate blokes are gay, not all but I suspect 99% are. Brian Dowling was never going to be heterosexual!

What about it? Victor was one of my favourite HMs of all time as well, i don't see what difference it would have made if he liked men?
