In a word yes.
However, his girl friend did give him a hall pass although she has since confessed it was a test. I like Dexter but if I'm honest he does need to practice what he preaches where this is concerned. If he wanted a hall pass then he should have broken up with his girlfriend! Further to that, anyone that has a problem with Daley and Hazel but doesn't mind Dexter pursuing Charlie is also a hypocrite in my eyes.
