This, last night, all along, it's been the real Callum. He honestly believes that people obsess over every little thing in the same way he does - so Charlie should instantly admit she was wrong to nominate him because of the little chess game he has worked out in his head, where he's her shining knight (or cowboy) and she's the helpless, useless, damsel in distress. Dexter should admit he does everything he does to torture Callum, because Callum devotes hours of every day thinking of ways to annoy Dexter and guessing what Dexter will do next. Dan was his bestest buddy ever and they had an understanding, because he invented a backstory to explain away all the reasons Dan didn't like him.
